Designed by Stephen Carr Architects, the brief for Monart House Hotel was to create an environment of calm, tranquility, serenity and a sense of place specific to this development and it's location.

Monart House itself is an existing protected structure. The new development snakes through the trees at the bedroom block side and gently hugs the edge of the forest on the leisure and treatment facilities side. The existing trees have all been retained and the building has been formed around them. This new development is modern, organic and simple in style contrasting with the main house.
