Andre joined Crown in October 2021, to work with our purchasing and procurement team.

Following a Bachelor’s Degree in Process Management from Centro Universitario Internacional UNINTER in Brazil, Andre spent over 10 years in administrative and purchasing roles within the construction and electronic security systems industries. Joining Crown almost two years ago, Andre brought with him a wealth of experience and best practice in purchasing.

In his current role, Andre enjoys being able to engage with suppliers on a European scale, gaining insights into different purchasing practices, and building strong relationships with the supply chain beyond Ireland’s borders. He finds this to be highly beneficial in his own personal and professional growth also, specifically in terms of developing his ever-improving English skills.

Andre finds the opportunity to work on projects for high-profile clients to be the most interesting aspect of his work. The complexity and attention to detail required provides a challenges but, when all goes to plan, makes it a highly rewarding experience.

Outside of Crown, Andre works on his mind, body and brain. As a Buddhist, his spiritual practice brings peace and mindfulness to his life. Andre’s recent involvement in CrossFit. provides both a physical and mental challenge, and his personal development is rounded out by staying up to date on new and advancing technologies, as well as enjoying documentaries on a wide range of subjects.
